CY Lee: Excellent visit. The guide (dressed as a ninja) was very articulate and conversant in English. Throughout the entire tour, it was very educational and I learnt so much about samurais, ninjas and Japanese history. We got to throw the darts like ninjas and also dress as samurais as well. It is a good idea to try booking through their website as they have a promo code on their homepage which gives you a discount. I bought my tickets online just 5 minutes before the show started. If you go physically to buy the ticket, it will be full price.

Lisa Harris: A wonderfully fact filled and interactive tour. Our 6 year old felt able to participate and enjoyed the movement between rooms to see various parts of the exhibition. Best fun was throws of the ninja stars & dress ups at the end. Very fun activity for families! ☺️

Andrew Co: It was a Excellent historical Enlightenment. We liked the shooting star competition and the techniques on throwing. We also had time to wear costumes and act like Samurai. We had to go to another location to do this. This is highlighted in my pictures Over all 👍 Great Experience... Ninja vs Samurai

Clark Fielding: My wife and three kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the Samurai training and museum guided tour! The staff were very friendly and attentive and spoke great English. The artifacts and information were fascinating. Thank you to our Samurai teacher and to Sego who gave the tour and to Atsu who was our Ninja teacher! Highly recommend, lots of fun!

Shlomi Ben Shimon: Awesome experience for all ages! The basic ticket includes a guided tour (in English) with explanations about Japan's history, a star-throwing activity (made out of plastic for the participants' safety), and a samurai costumes for photo taking. We loved each of the above parts, and we also liked the location of the activity, right in the living shopping streets of Kyoto (Nishiki market and surrounding), which made this activity a perfect candidate to combine during a day in the center. Highly recommended!
