Amna Alsuwaidi: The place is very huge, and beautiful. I had a great time in the aquarium. So many see animals, that I have never seen before, you will not regret coming here. For people who love to collect stamps don't forget to bring your notebook, each area has stamps.

Zayus Knoke: We went in the afternoon and it wasn't crazy packed, though it was sort of difficult to get good shots when people crowded around the popular animals (especially the seal, penguin, and the dolphin exhibits). The A/C is strong and there's seats every once in awhile to sit when your kid wants to watch the seals for 20 min. Overall, it was fun enough for a teenager, the younger kids seemed even more excited.

Clara R: Okay experience. We made the mistake to go during the weekend. A LOT of people and waiting to see the animals. The large fish tank was very cool to see. My personal wish would have been for the aquarium to keep just one whaleshark, not two, as the tank was rather small for the big amount of fish kept in there. Penguin exhibit looked a bit depressing but the otters, and the >larger

B T (AwesomeMom Actual): This was a very fun excursion. The day we went was super rainy and busy. Try to buy tickets in advance because the lines can be long and they are timed entrances. It is next to a mall with a good food court if you can’t get in right away. There are lockers in the front when you walk in, so you don’t have to carry everything while you are in the aquarium. We came mainly to see the whale shark. So beautiful….

Dalton Fox: The best Aquarium we've ever been to. Osaka Kaiyukan aquarium is spectacular in every way. We've been to many aquariums across the United States -- never have we seen an aquarium as well designed as Osaka Kaiyukan. You start at the top of the aquarium moving down, viewing many different exhibits organized by region / biome. There is a large central take visible from every floor, at any time you can look away from the small sectional exhibits on one side of the walkway, to seeing different aspects of the whale sharks and other aquatic life from above to below them. The greatest thing about this design was that instead of everyone being jammed into a single grand viewing area, the crowds were spread across many floors viewing the whale sharks and other beautiful sea creatures from many angles. I love aquatic life, it's always been so magnetic and fascinating to me. However, at most aquariums I feel rushed to say 'wow' and move on. At this aquarium however, I had the opportunity to just watch for as long as I wanted to, completely jaw dropped at the beautiful life of the Earth's oceans. Truly inspiring. They also have many feeding times at different exhibits and you can watch for free, it was amazing seeing the dolphins being fed and there were a ton of fun opportunities to see different behaviors from the animals. I wouldn't say this zoo is super kid friendly for very young children as there are no touch pools and that sort of thing. They did however have an adorable animated presentation on coral reefs and we genuinely felt like the aquarium cares about the environment. The cafes and gift shop were reasonably priced, especially compared to amusement parks and such in the US. We'll definitely have to visit this aquarium again in the future. We came on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. Just be sure to book your tickets online.
